   A man appears to be lying on the sidewalk, perhaps asleep.

   From a distance I imagined him to be in distress,(dead) protected by his faithful canine. When I got closer I found him to be enjoying a cigarette in the the fine morning mist
   while the dog perhaps in an effort to keep him/herself dry sat on his belly.
