Bloomin’

Some vernal obsessive, no doubt a poignancy fan, has demonstrated his/her enthusiasm for the change of seasons by putting leaves on traffic signs. I saw these ones down by Thompson Boat Center. Any other sightings?

I saw some behind the Mayflower on 17th Street, but they had been taken down the next day. Put a little smile on my face though…

  2. Mark Athitakis Says:

Saw one of these on 19th St., a block or two south of Florida Ave. I had my camera but didn’t take a pic–clearly I’m falling down on the job as a “citizen journalist.”

Some showed up on my corner: 5th & H NE.

  4. Vince Says:

Corcoran St. between 18th and New Hampshire Ave. NW

Those leaves… They always make me smile because they are so pretty.
