Hates the Planet: A reader calls in to note that among the many participants in tomorrow's Earth Hour 2008---including Chicago; San Francisco; Homer Glen, Ill.; La Grange, Texas; Asbury Park, N.J.; St. Louis, Mo.; Arlington, Va.; and the entire state of New York---Washington is not one of them.
