Stupid Idea Of The Day: Folding Machine Gun

This little gadget has some DC gun ban opponents all giddy. I’m not particularly anti-gun, but this seems a bit on the retarded side.

no mention of THE NATIONAL BIKE SUMMIT from last week?

check with Eric of WABA and see if he can sum it up for you

it amazes me how so many things happen under the radar in this town

guess so much is happening that not all of it can be announced
    or
you have to be pointed in the right direction to see it

This is a company that has a rifle named the Masada, after a famous mass suicide.

The point is to evolve it doesn’t matter in what media. The idea is not to stand stagnant, but to move forward. It seams that you have nothing intelligent to say about this matter. Trying to make it less then what it actually is, something different. The idea that the capitol of the United State of America would have a gun ban of any kind is stupid to me. The second amendment; but you probably think that stupid too.

No, Brian. The idea that the capital of the United States of America would need a gun ban, that is what is stupid.

It is not a “machine” gun. “Machine” gun implies fully automatic (that means that when you pull the trigger then bullets continue to exit the barrel until you stop pulling the trigger). It is a semi-automatic. This means that when you pull the trigger then one bullet comes out, even if you held the trigger until next week. To make another bullet come out, you release the trigger, then pull the trigger again.

“assault (rifle and or weapon)” also does not mean “fully automatic” though the media sure likes to imply it (though many of them, like the author of this rant, are likely just ignorant about gun terminology and just choose whatever sounds worse.
