How Dumb Are Women?
Posted by Amanda Hess on Mar. 3, 2008, at 10:41 am
Yesterday’s Post has an interesting op-ed piece by Charlotte Allen asking why women are so good at screaming, swooning, crying, raising children, and decorating homes, and so bad at doing math, driving, and running for president. So, how dumb are women? A better question: How dumb is Charlotte Allen?

The Post is saying it was “tongue-in-cheek,” but the record isn’t great: http://slog.thestranger.com/2008/03/re_just_kidding

“Tongue-in-cheek”? Next, The Post might as well just run an op-ed by Larry the Cable Guy on how gay gay people are. Does it matter whether or not something is a “joke” if it’s not funny?

Charlotte called me out. I watch Grey’s Anatomy because my fiancee does. That also goes for Project Runaway. The scarier truth is that I enjoy those shows.
