*How does she do it? DCPS Chancellor Michelle Rhee wins another round against school activists, the Washington Post reports. Earlier this month, a group sued to have access to her budget before it is submitted to the D.C. Council. The judgment: denied!
*And speaking of mavericks, who always seem to get their way, Barack Obama is featured in a new video on Slate. Turns out, the writers of The West Wing consulted with Obama strategist David Axelrod back in the day when they were crafting their Matt Santos character, successor to the White House after Martin Sheen departed.
*But forget Obama. Let’s talk Hillary Clinton. Actually forget her too. Daughter Chelsea Clinton is way more interesting. In this week’s New York Magazine, there is a fascinating long feature article about her. It came out Sunday. If you haven’t read it yet, well, what are you waiting for?
*New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is not running for president, and all I have to say is come on, can’t you just run for a little while Mike? The debates are getting sooooooo booooring and petttttttty. Just liven things up for a few weeks. Bloomberg announces the news in the New York Times today.
* Warning: this next bit of news might make you spit up your coffee. Last summer, a parking space in a Kalorama condo building sold for $50,000, Washingtonian magazine reports.

When my building in Adams Morgan went condo, the nine garage spaces sold for $50,000 each and the 5 back parking lot spaces sold for $20,000 each. Those folks also have to pay condo fees on their spaces...nice!

Michelle Rhee wins because of the poor quality of her enemies, namely, the anti-Semetic ANSWER Coalition.
They make George W. Bush look like a saint. They need to shut up and protest the war or something. Nhyaaahhh!
