More WaPo Perks!!!

Air hockey and foosball are fun and all, but there’s more fringe benefits for reporters and editors. Here’s an excerpt from an internal WaPo memo:

Beginning on Monday, March 3rd

The Washington Post has teamed up with Bergmann’s Cleaners to provide convenient dry-cleaning services to all Post employees at our Northwest offices. All employees will receive a 20% discount off Bergmann’s regular prices. Besides dry-cleaning, Bergmann’s also offers a variety of other services such as: laundry, alterations, drapes, rug cleaning, and much more.

Hmmm, 20 percent discount. Doesn’t that qualify as a gift to Post reporters. Isn’t that a violation of Post policy? Is this an issue for Deborah Howell? (That’s the paper’s ombudsman)
