Terrorism is fueled by many things. There was terrorism long before we went into Iraq, which HAD a stable if evil government. There was terrorism in Afghanistan that we helped nurture by proxy fighting the Soviets there. There was terror in the Middle East both by Israel and the Palestinians fifty years ago. There was terror in Iraq when the British originally tried to expand the Empire there.

As I stated before, this is a conservative estimate. According to the FBI or half the gang members in this country are here illegally. Not sure how much the cost of this is, I do know LA spends 160 million a year on programs, gang related. City after city is getting federal grants to fight gangs.
