It’s an Honor Just to Be…Blah Blah…

wardancebig.jpg

War/Dance, the documentary about the lives of Ugandan children escaping the country’s long-running civil war, didn’t win the Oscar for best documentary feature. But no, really, it’s an honor just to be nominated; you can read our interview with the film’s directors, locals Sean Fine and Andrea Nix Fine, in a recent Artifact, or check out our review.

Or you can catch the film for free and see what the fuss is about. It screens a week from now, Monday, March 3, 10 a.m., at the Warner Theatre. The event is part of the 16th annual D.C. Environmental Film Festival, which kicks off in earnest on March 11.
