Candida’s Closing
Just a few weeks after the announcement that local chain Karibu Books would shutter its remaining stores (the remaining outlets had their final day yesterday), it appears that Candida’s World of Books is closing up shop too. There’s no official word on the store’s Web site, but Wendi Kaufman at the Happy Booker reports that the store’s stock is now discounted at 20 percent or more.
