Oh please, Angela! If Ms. Franks had focused "only" on her personal responsibility, she wouldn't have four kids, wouldn't be a criminal, and wouldn't have made such utterly disastrous decisions for herself and her children. But I guess that would be judgmental of me, and that might hurt some people's feelings. Puh-leeze! Ms. Franks deserves all the misfortune that comes her way due to her stupidity, greed and lies. I feel bad for her kids and hope they don't turn out to be as miserable a human being as their mother reveals herself to be.

Well, her lack of education may explain the first unplanned pregnancy, but what about the other 3? There are plenty of free condoms and birth control information available around here, the Planned Parenthood on 16th Street immediately comes to mind. Any way you explain it, having 4 kids by the age of 20 is jaw-droppingly unwise.
Then again, mean-spirited comments about forced sterilization aren't the answer, either. I hope the kids end up OK, and don't follow in their mother's footsteps, be they in the care of a relative, or adopted by more stable parents.
