Monk, Green Selected to the Hall
Art Monk and Darrell Green have been selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Green’s selection was not a surprise. But Monk? The controversy over whether he was worthy of the Hall had raged on talk radio and even in the offices of City Paper.
It was Monk’s eighth year of eligibility.
Redskins fans can now rejoice. And sports talk radio can now stop complaining about how players are selected to the Hall of Fame.
