it's sad to watch the city paper slowly wither and die. hope everyone is finding gainful employment elsewhere. auf wiedersehen, CP.

In all honesty, I didn't mean that post to be disingenuous, at least about the "I suck vs. budget thing" line. My fragile, paranoid illustrator's mind prevents me from EVER being 100% certain that people don't think I suck! Hence, lots of "maybes" and "I guesses".

Also, I need to say that Andrew Beaujon is a prince among men, and was supremely cool about everything in regards to this situation. Honestly, the new folks at CL have been pretty cool about things as well. It leaves me in the awkward situation of not being sure who to be pissed off at.

One thing's for sure...If I ever run into this "Craig" fellow, I'm gonna kick his ass and stuff his "List" down his throat. He's fucking it up for everybody.

The Washington CityPaper is quickly becoming Advertisers' Weekly. Dwindling articles, no comics (Dirt Farm the only lame exception), shrinking in size (dimensions and thickness). Nothing left but freaking ads and classifieds.

This sux. I have been a loyal reader since I moved to DC in 1988. I still do out of habit, but am more disappointed with each passing week.
