Kenny's Smokehouse on Capitol Hill

One platter feeds two -- & costs about $10 bucks. Not healthy but reliably tasty. Some seating inside and on their patio but in warm weather youre better served picnicking in Stanton or Lincoln Park

Steak & Egg 4700 Wisconsin Ave NW

Great food, very inexpensive. More of a diner than a restaurant!

Breakfast served ALL day! Great menu. Open 24 hours! Even Holidays!

Man, I love Tonic in Mount Pleasant on a regular basis. Sandwiches are 8-9 bucks, and entrees are 13-15, with specials all the time.

Most people think its expensive but Sushi Ko(Wisconsin Ave.) is realtively inexpensive if you have 3 rolls and and appetizer. That should be enough for 2. Logan's Tavern on P street across from Whole Foods is really good but more in the 30/pp range. There's also an Ethiopian place on the corner of 14 and P that is good and not too pricey.
