What a Crock!

The District’s First Family likes to bag all manner of formalities and official business on Christmas day. That’s because they want to dedicate the day to the 7-year-old Fenty twins, Andrew and Matthew.

How do I know this? Well, because the Fentys invited a photographer and reporter from the Washington Post into their home for their traditional Xmas morning. As First Lady Michelle Fenty told the paper, “No matter what else is going on, we try to shut everything down so the kids can enjoy this day.”

Yeah, shut everything down. Everything, that is, except their 24-7 PR operation. Presents, hugs, fun with daddy, tasty holiday treats, plus Post photog Gerald Martineau! Abominable.
