AP reports on the “major oil spoil” contaminating the Potomac. I wonder about the lack of media attention to this story. Maybe it has something to do with the crummy press conference held yesterday near the crab shacks at the waterfront. Fenty and Co. held court in front of a tiny rent-a-podium. The battalion of talking heads also had to shout over all the noisy trucks nearby. You couldn’t hear anything. All the reporters just looked bored. Or at least I was bored.
The Post takes on the arduous task of explaining the new subway fares.
