When stealing penny candies was the worst offense a young whipper-snapper could get up to? Well, I myself stole a Hello Kitty pencil sharpener when I was 4, and my dear mother (god bless her soul), marched me right back into that Hallmark store and demanded I return the merchandise and apologize to the clerk. Perhaps all these thugs need is a swift washing out of the mouth with liquid soap (also recommended by mum). What ever happened to the good ol' days? You'd probably be able to hock a decent tool for more than the typical contents of a car trunk. Of course nobody ever said the average car robber was a genius. Wow.
