Barry Laid F-Bomb on Fenty
If, after reading today's B1 Post story, you were wondering what exactly the "curse" was that Ward 8 Councilmember Marion Barry directed at Mayor Adrian M. Fenty at Wednesday's breakfast meeting, allow me to fill in the blank.
It was "fucking," multiple sources say.
WRC-TV's Tom Sherwood had the exchange, sans F-bomb, on that day's 6 p.m. newscast:
Fenty: "I'm not going to sit here and be told I'm missing the point!"
Barry: "Can I finish?
Fenty: "No!"
Barry: "I can't finish my [expletive] statement? I resent that."

Like I said in my post Marion Barry giving governing advice is like me being a Jenny Craig spokesperson (I could stand to lose 90 pounds). Hilarious they were all for the Mayor's plan when it did not impact their respective wards and now they all want to give him "advice". Evans and Barry should be the ones listening because they are as much to blame for the situation as anyone.
