Incumbent Jeannemarie Devolites Davis got hammered hard at the polls by some guy named Chap! yesterday. So hard, in fact, that it'd be silly to pin her loss on any one flaw or failing. So, just to be silly, let's assert that the only reason Chap! displaced the longtime lawmaker in the Virginia senate was the re-surfacing of this 1997 campaign commercial, taped back before she left the husband in the ad for the Congressman in the ad and before one of the daughters in the ad got popped by the cops for several armed robberies. Sure, this video was posted in this very space just days ago. But, just like Casablanca, it only gets better every time you see it. Enjoy!
