There's a restaurant in Pittsburgh called the Library which I recommend highly. Try the black and blue ribeye called the Tyler Durden.

Don: For the record, "filmmaker Josh Seftel asked Malesky to lend her name to the project and she agreed saying, 'Well, I can’t think of a good reason to say no.'"

While I can't say whether Kee Malesky is actually joking, it's worth remembering that the PBS biography film made on her life, "Breaking the Mold: The Kee Malesky Story" is ENTIRELY fictional and humorous. Therefore I would agree that any reporter taking these wacky comments seriously needs to be fired for lack of sense.

If I'm not mistaken, Kee Malesky works for NPR and may be required by contract to be ironic or at least wry, so I wouldn't necessarily take those comments at face value.

The 2nd floor bar at Mr. Smith's of Georgetown (3104 M Street NW) is (or was) actually called the Library. The shelves of ancient crumbling books helped deaden the earsplitting sounds of live bands.

I don't think the American Library Association would care to censor the bar's name, especially during Banned Books Week - see http://www.ala.org/ala/oif/bannedbooksweek/bannedbooksweek.htm
