Kim Ward has done a fantastic job of rebuilding the reputation of the WPA since the unfortunate firing of Philip Barlow and the Gehry-addition-meltdown departure of David Levy. If eliminating the blackslash means eliminating any future Philip Barlow-type blowback from the Corcoran Gallery of Art with respect to interferring in the actions of the WPA, then I say good riddance backslash.
