Unless you happen to be a very large, intimidating-looking character, or perhaps are a trained fighter of some kind, or are accompanied by several of your friends, that seems like an extraordinarily stupid thing to do when confronted with a situation involving people who are clearly angry and probably unstable. This isn't Happy Days. The "manly" reaction to a situation is the one that will get you cold cocked. Crazy people arguing in the street? Not your problem, or call the cops if it looks bad.
