District of Columbia Arts Center: There's plenty of hanging around to be done in "Wall Mountables," DCAC's annual fundraising exhibition in which local artists rent 2-foot-by-2-foot blocks of wall space to showcase their work. The reception is at 7 p.m. Friday, July 20; the exhibition is on view from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays, to Friday, Sept. 7, at the District of Columbia Arts Center, 2438 18th St. NW.
