   Is it any wonder DC is known not to be business friendly!

   There's a reason there's a paucity of good watering holes in this town. I think DC should have more tavern licenses. Sure you can control how many are in a particular geographic area to avoid drunk alleys but let's have more good bars. Why do the vast majority of places serving alcohol have to be restaurants? Let the drink slingers serve drinks and let the restaurants serve food (and drink if they wish).
