It Wasn’t Me!

So browsing D.C. Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey’s phone records, I see she called Washington City Paper’s main number no fewer than 31 times for a total of 162 minutes.

UPDATE, 4:10 P.M.: I’m not the only one on to this scoop! A CP employee working the reception desk received a call from a Channel 7 employee asking who exactly we were.

    I prefer to take this as further proof of WCP’s tip-top customer service when it comes to Adult Services classifieds. Obviously a happy customer!

    Hell yeah! CP has the classiest adult classifieds around. Bet Palfrey wasn’t advertising her call girls on raggedy-ass Craig’s list.

    Does this mean that an employee of CP was making those calls to the DC Madam or was it part of a story?
