Clearly bad things were going down. THen he drove off the cliff, seeming to kill them both. But because he is Slash and has already died once, he magically survived to finish the cliff side solo and toss the guitar over the edge into the wreckage. I'll admit, the first time I saw each video, I got them confused as well. Also, you are correct Mark. Axl somehow does manage to do all of those things during the course of the video. I'm particularly fan of the therapy freak out session.
