The Final WCP Church and Convention Reviews
With this week's redesign, we've taken the opportunity to swap out a couple of our weekly news features. After extremely good runs, we are retiring Service Industry, our weekly church review, and Conventional Wisdom, our rundown of D.C. conventions. Many thanks to Rob Tierney and Aaron Leitko (and Costa Caloudas before him) for their months of hard work.
We've debuted a new one, Suit Yourself, in which Jonathan York will take a weekly look at who's suing the District government. And we're continuing with Pleading the Filth, where we ask restaurants closed for health-code violations their sides of the story. And if you've got a sweet idea for another feature, let us know in the comments.
For old times' sake, we've got one more Service Industry (on the National Airport Chapel) and Conventional Wisdom (on the Consumer Electronics Association's Washington Forum) for you, exclusively on washingtoncitypaper.com. Enjoy!

Will be sad to see Service Industry go...it's been a great run, Aaron. There have been plenty of weeks where Service Industry was the only thing I read in the paper.

Why are you retiring Service Industry? It's an interesting column, and it serves a useful purpose. If Aaron is tired of writing it, perhaps you could find another writer. I hope that you can find a way to keep the column going. There are many other churches, centers, and places of inspiration to cover.
