Full disclosure: The Oxymorons are friends of mine, and I've known them all for at least 15 years, but definately go on out and see them when they hit your local bar! They're a lot of fun, they play great rock and blues-rock songs, and there's a lot of talent in this band. Singer Neeta Ragoowansi, by the way, pops up in the press every now and then as an official with SoundExchange, and keyboardist/guitarist and singer Erica is a local videographer, lead singer Doug is well-known in political and legal circles...and we could go on and on. Also, local film public relations official Courtney Kopf was there Friday night, as were a scattering of other local musicians, journalists and singers. Congrats to the organizers, and happy birthday to Connie! Happy Birthday, Connie!
