Dude, Exile in Guyville was out of print. I think that’s the first reason why it was reissued.

Furthermore, listening to the reissue and watching the DVD (did you?), I did not find myself being forced to revisit the entire arc of Phair’s excruciatingly disappointing post-Matador career, so I’m not sure I get your anger or sadness.
