Because You Can’t Spell “‘Cooling Card’ Cover” Without “Cello”
Posted by Mark Athitakis on Jan. 7, 2008, at 3:18 pm
The Dischord store is now selling Fairfax cellist Gordon Withers‘ Jawbox on Cello: A Benefit for Cal Robbins. Cal Robbins, son of Jawbox’s J. Robbins, is being treated for spinal muscular atrophy; more information about him, his treatment, and how you can help is here. You can check out streams of some of Withers’ covers on his MySpace page.

Is this a blog or a place to die? Look, over there, a sand-polished bison skull! Would somebody please say something controversial, or even interesting, soon?
Hmmm.
Hey, what’s happening at Dischord?

I think I (pant) see a new post! No (drops to sand) it’s just a MIRAGE! Oh, why ever did I wander into this parched and postless place!
