Does that include your list?

I, uh, didn’t do one up. But a few of these would’ve made it if I had (”Mapmaker” and “5th Gear,” definitely; probably Tinariwen and Field Music)

That Black Lips record has about three good songs (”Veni, Vidi, Vici,” for starters) — and a bunch of stuff that I’d rather hear The Oblivians do.

Maybe you need more contributors (but since your publisher wants to keep expenses down that may not happen). Also, The Art Brut cd has been panned alot, 50 has only gotten love for the single, and Sea & Cake have been cranking out the same ‘ol thing over and over it seems. I liked Tinariwen live more than on disc.

I agree with you on the Tinariwen. Their show was amazing.

No Andrew Bird? Shit, I’d have picked that one.
