Christmas is on the doorstep, and in the spirit of the season, the accusations are flying. Nina Totenberg hates Christmas! (Wait! She doesn't!) TBD is gay! Donovan McNabb can't get any respect!

In WaPo this morning, Peter Marks writes up the Jewish drag-queen holiday revels of Kinsey Sicks running at Theater J through Jan. 2. OK, so only half the quartet belongs to the tribe, but the jokes are 100 percent Borscht Belt with punchlines directed at Santa Claus and Julian Assange and a manger scene that includes Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass. And it's holiday entertainment made to upset the children: Writes Marks of one family who attended the same show as he, "within minutes they were holding their hands over the boy's ears and minutes after that were scurrying for the exit."

TBD's Maura Judkis looks into the famous climactic lines of A Christmas Carol. Apparently Tiny Tim escaping death is THAT important.

The Post doubles up on family-unfriendly holiday entertainment with Michael O'Sullivan's review of the Finnish scary carol Rare Exports, a tale of the classic, evil Scandinavian version of Santa Claus sprung to life for a Christmas killing spree. I think our friend The Sleigher would approve.

The Posties are flush with the movie reviews today. Quickly, here are the rest: Somewhere? Dreamy, colorful morality about Hollywood sybarites. Little Fockers? Fuck 'em. True Grit? Ann Hornaday calls it "classy" and "heroically Falstaffian" before ruminating on the great performance by Hailee Steinfeld as Mattie Ross. But if you listened to me or Mike Riggs, you've probably already bought your tickets.

From tonight's pick by Caroline Jones: "One part kitsch, one part political satire, and one part glitter, the Kinsey Sicks, describe themselves as “America’s Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet.” The group returns to D.C. on Saturday night with a new set of parodies, skewering everyone from Condoleezza Rice to Vanna White. What began 15 years ago with four guys attending a Bette Midler show dressed as the Andrews Sisters is now an off-Broadway revue that’s traveled around the country and the world."
