Photos: Garbage @ 9:30 Club

Not too many bands could take off seven years between releases and still have a big fan base. But GarbageShirley Manson, Butch Vig, Duke Erikson, and Steve Marker—are mostly playing as tight as they ever did, and they were rewarded with a sold-out crowd last night at the 9:30 Club. With the arch of an eyebrow, Manson commanded the audience, which sang the "oh-ohs" during "Cherry Lips (Go Baby Go!)" and pogoed in unison during "Only Happy When It Rains." Even when the band botched "Supervixen" at the top of the encore, Manson defused the hiccup with humor. To this crowd, Garbage could do no wrong.

Photos from the show can be seen in the here.

Seriously? Not one photo of Steve Marker? He has family here, for God's sake.

Great show from one of the best bands ever. Thanks to 9:30 Club for supporting them throughout the years.

    Hi Jerry-
Thanks for reading. I did shoot photos of Steve Marker, as I always like to capture all band members when I shoot. Unfortunately, last night I didn't wind up with any of him that I felt were good enough to post. They seemed to save all of the good light for Shirley during our allotted time. :(

Oh, well. The rest of your photos are great and you can never have too many shots of Shirley. Thanks for the post!
