Anyway, the band has a goodbye show set for March 4 at Rock & Roll Hotel, and it’ll double as a release party for a new single, “Hey, We Tried.” If you know Tennis System, it’s familiar—-slurred, slow-mo vocals; harsh yet pretty noise—-but it’s also the rare shoegaze song that manages to gallop.
