Snow Day Sessions: Maureen Andary of The Sweater Set
Maureen Andary is one half of the D.C. folk-pop duo The Sweater Set, and she appeared last week on our parking deck, despite harsh atmospheric conditions, with a couple of songs for voice, guitar, ukulele and—spoiler alert!—mouth trumpet.
Andary and her Sweater Set bandmate Sara Curtin are artists in residence at Strathmore this year, and have a month of programming at the Montgomery County arts center scheduled for April. They've also got a love-themed show at The Fridge at 7 p.m. on Feb. 14. I expect it'll be as adorable as the Snow Day Session below.

I've known this wonderful woman since we were 5 years old. Her shows are not to be missed!

I will second that....I am lucky enough to take classes with Maureen. She is a talented musician and really uses music to bring people together. So fun!
