Unfortunately the mike and mix setup for the rest of the band was horrid. When you did hear Steve Lacy's drums, even after many years of non-playing, he was awesome. It was quite an experience for us to gather in VA after 40+ years, rehearse intensely and perform, warts and all. I especially want to thank all who so kindly came to hear us at Winston's and JV's and express our heartfelt wish that we could've met everyone's (and our own!) musical expectations 110%.
