    A just added special”Tribute Concert to Diana Parker, Director Smithsonian Folklife Festival, on the occasion of her upcoming retirement” with
    bluesmen Phil Wiggins and Corey Harris, and Cajun n zydeco group BeauSoleil for free Saturday 7 to 9 at the Smithsonian Folklife Fest plus lotsa Latin acts at the Fest and folkies from Wales too.

    The 2 Caribbean Carnival concerts in Banneker Park Saturday and Sunday afternoon plus tons of Caribbean shows in the clubs all weekend long (and lots of good music in the parade down Ga. Ave. as well)

    The Baltimore Latino Fest Saturday and Sunday with Conjunto Libre (the late Manny Oquendo’s group) and numerous others

    70s soul group the Stylistics at Carter Barron Saturday night
