I had the joy of seeing Joe for the first time on the Townes tour with Steve Earle. they were in New Braunsfels, TX, right down the road from where I grew up and not too far from where Steve grew up, too. I thought Joe was incredible and even though I came to see my musical love of 20 plus years, Steve Earle, i hated for Joe's time at the mike to end. I hope he can work with Steve a lot, learn from the master just like Steve learned from Townes. I think, and hope, we will be seeing a lot of Joe Pug is all our musical daydreams in the next years. Take care, Joe, you are really wonderful...
