The cover is a very strong and worrying description of 'Reveltion 13' and 'Revelation 14' from our beloved Bible and of course the resulting 'Resurrection'.
The Butterfly, in Christian symbolism denotes the human spirit from death, rising to heaven. The markings on Morrissey's right arm and that on the head of the 'baby' relate to the decree markings of submission to the Beast, from the Bible as described in 'Revelation 13'. Morrissey is saying more than we may initially believe.
Thank you Morrissey, for your talent, intellect & music, God Bless you eternally.

Errr.... doesn't the city already have a beloved column covering this territory written by an internationally respected expert on design and music?

See "Judging A Cover By Its Cover" that has been running weekly for well over a year and a half at www.brightestyoungthings.com - Its not that anyone isn't entitled to comment on these matters but maybe a name change might be in order at the very least...
