Sean McArdle Gets Ink in Wire

Distinguished music writer Byron Coley had a few nice words about local singer/songwriter Sean McArdle’s recent 7″ Still Working in his “Size Matters” column, which will be featured in January’s issue of Wire. Here’s the gist of it:

DC songwriter, freed from the post-punk straightjacket, produces a quiet monster of a single.”

If you want to read Coley’s other 20 words, well, you’re just gonna have to throw down and buy the magazine, which you can usually get down at the Borders on L st. and sometimes at Crooked Beat Records on 18th.

Congrats to Sean! I hope Coley uses at least 9 “yr”s and one “Heideggerean brainscuzz.”
