The word you’re looking for in the headline is “flier,” not “flyer.” Check your AP Stylebook.

According to Webster’s “flyer” is an alternative spelling to flier. so flyer is perfectly legal.

Current usage is “flyer” (at gogobeat.com we always use that form), even though the spell-checkers always complain.
