The Ultimate Best-Of List
I am still struggling with my best of 2008 list. Where does Deerhunter go? What about an album I just heard a week ago and love? Does it matter that it’s a tour-only CD-R? Anyway. Largehearted Boy has compiled links to just about everyone’s best-of list. The blogger includes everyone from blogs to college papers to Amazon.com’s editors picks to alt-weeklies to the big dailies. It’s a best-of-best-of list that the blogger promises will continue to grow. It’s an amazing post.
It just shows you that there are too many best-of lists!
I still think the concensus album of the year among non-Rolling Stone readers is gonna be the Deerhunter album.
