Good choice with “Cold House.” I would have posted a few songs from that album. I just didn’t have it at the office. So I went with the EP.

Excellent choices! Hood and Unwound are my two favorite winter bands, too. Though for Hood I would recommend the album “Cold House” just from the title, and the song names like “Lines Close to Frozen Ground”. Also it is simply a great record.

And I can’t really think of anything that sounds like “Leaves Turn Inside You.” What a sad, dark, fascinating album…

Codeine’s “The White Birch” tends to be my favorite for miserably cold weather. Which we’re nowhere near having here yet, just for the record.

When it gets cold I usually pull out Slant 6’s “Inzombia”
