Hey brother, thanks for the shout out. Just wanted to add one thing - I am a lifelong metal head (Iron Maiden/Quiet Riot at the Baltimore Civic Center in like 82/83 was my first show) but there's no closet about it. Metal gods are no strangers on my blog; in fact, it ticks off some of the hardcore, football-only people on my blog, but what the hell. I'm listening to Holy Diver on the IPOD in Carolina before the Skins preseason game right now. If my daughter Chloe (3 1/2), knows you well enough, and she's in the right mood, and you give her a, "For those about to rock ... " she will stomp her foot, attempt a devil horn (we've got some work to do in that department), and respond, "We saaaluuute you!" in kind. Anthrax, Slayer, Suicidal, DRI, Pantera. At my core maybe I'm more of a punk/hardcore guy than a straight metalhead, but I digress. Thanks for reading. Keep on rocking. Cheers.

I think there should be a separate wing of the R&R Hall of Fame just for Italian-American metal stars.

I guess you could include Italian-British dudes like Tony Iommi, too.

I can't think of an Italian-Canadian metal star.
