Don't know, but the real Eddie Money has to play on the same bill as an Eagles tribute band. That's gotta hurt.

This is how the man keeps us down. I come up with a great idea, and it's immediately co-opted by the Corporate Media.

That said, I wonder if there's an Eddie Money tribute act called Ed E. Money.

I was asserting that Sebadoh and Bauhaus were overrated bands that magically transform into better but still mediocre bands with the addition of a little Money.

And dude, it's an equation, not a historical progression. Take the Outfield (please!), add Eddie Money, and you get something that sounds like the finer tracks on Survivor's "Vital Signs," an album I was legally obligated to listen to during my adolescence because the main songwriter in the band went to my high school.

Which reminds me:

Survivor + Money = Funny!:

Not sure what you're saying, Athitakis. The Sebadoh+ and Bauhaus+ suggestions appear to follow my model (i.e. seminal group + Money = successful bastard child).

I dig the Yanni+, but I think you got the timeline wrong on the Outfield+. Didn't Survivor come first? The equation, then, would be:

Survivor - Eddie Money = Outfield

Right?

More for you:

Fugazi + Eddie Money = Pearl Jam

Royal Trux + Eddie Money = White Stripes

For the readers: It's not "catted-up," it's "tatted-up." Vernacular for "tatooed."

And if anyone needs them, we have two tickets to Paradise.

You could swing it the other way, though, by picking subpar musical acts to, er, monetize:

Yanni + Eddie Money = Billy Joel

Outfield + Eddie Money = Survivor

Bauhaus + Eddie Money = Editors

Sebadoh + Eddie Money = Foo Fighters

I think if you add Eddie Money to anything, it immediately becomes somewhat broke-ass. Other groups that qualify as "something + Eddie Money" include:

Metallica + Eddie Money = Nickelback

Parliament Funkadelic + Eddie Money = Red Hot Chili Peppers

Prince + Eddie Money = Kanye West

DNA + Eddie Money = LCD Soundsystem

The possibilities are, unfortunately, endless.
