Which bands have announced that they’ll bypass D.C. on their upcoming tours? 

Battles (Straight to Japan after playing Baltimore tomorrow night.)

Bjork (To be fair, she’s only playing four shows in the U.S. But, because one of them is Atlanta, you’re right to be offended.)

Of Montreal

Ted Leo + Pharmacists (“Hello, Towson!”)

M.I.A. 

Smashing Pumpkins (Off to Stockholm after playing the Virgin Festival in Baltimore. Perhaps Billy Corgan is mad at all the "non-supporters" who showed up at their 9:30 Club show on July 7? )

    Of Montreal was just in the area this past winter, out at the State Theater in Falls Church...maybe that's why they're by-passing us this time around (?) But they sold out to Outback Steakhouse, so who really cares.

    I DO wish MIA would make a stop here, though...
