ToDo ToDay: Baths, The Threepenny Opera, and Right Proper Wings

bathsA full band is no longer a necessary ingredient for a rocking live show. Many artists write and record entire albums with just a laptop, and listeners connect with sounds that challenge our notions of traditional musicianship. Baths, the brainchild of L.A.-based Will Wiesenfeld, buys into that tradition. His 2013 album Obsidian is a dark masterpiece, one that couples hooks with infectious beats and sinister overtones.
