llthebest

The hip-hop community was leveled by the Notorious B.I.G.’s murder on March 9, 1997 at the age of 24.  Tonight, a day after the 17th anniversary of his murder, the Howard Theatre will host a tribute to Biggie. Protegé Lil Cease will anchor the event, which will feature performances by All the Best Kids (pictured), as well as artist and activist Asheru. A host of other artists will also perform their own renditions of revered classics from the rapper’s catalog, giving thanks Big Poppa in the process.
