Snowstorm Closings: What’s On and What’s Not
Once again, weather has shut down D.C. Here's a list of arts venues and events that have schedule changes as a result. Keep checking back here for updates as the storm progresses.
Sixth & I Historic Synagogue: Tonight's event with Equinox chef Todd Gray and his wife, Ellen Kassoff Gray, has been rescheduled for March 11 at 7 p.m.
D.C. Independent Film Festival: Opening night postposted. The First Winter and Granny Baby will show 8:45 p.m. on Thursday instead.
Rock & Roll Hotel: Tonight's performance by GEMS has been canceled.
Artomatic: The International Glass and Clay show at the Pepco Edison Place Gallery is closed today.
Clarice Smith Center: All administrative offices are closed and tonight's performance of Dead Man's Cell Phone has been canceled.
Atlas Performing Arts Center: Administrative offices are closed and all dance classes at Joy of Motion are canceled.
Jammin' Java: Tonight's Peter Bradley Adams show has been canceled. A rescheduled date will be announced soon.
National Gallery of Art: The gallery is closed and all programs are canceled.
Folger Theatre: The library and museum are closed today. Tonight's performance of Henry V will still go on, as of now.
Strathmore Music Center: The Strathmore campus is closed today.
Ford's Theatre: Federal government sites are closed today, and that includes Ford's National Historic Site, including the museum, theater, and Petersen House.
Politics & Prose: The bookstore plans to open as scheduled at 9 a.m. but will update plans as the situation becomes clearer.
U Street Music Hall: Planning to stay open for the Daedelus and Shlohmo show tomorrow at 8.
Kennedy Center: No announcements yet but American Express customers can buy tickets for The Book of Mormon beginning at 10 a.m.
Arena Stage: The 2:30 p.m. performance of Metamorphoses has been postponed but the 7:30 p.m. performances of Metamorphoses and Good People will be performed as scheduled.
Smithsonian: All museums within the Smithsonian are open to the public today and operate under their usual schedules. The National Zoo is closed.
Library of Congress: All Library of Congress buildings are closed and public events are canceled.
Corcoran Gallery of Art: The gallery and the school are both closed today.
National Building Museum: The museum is closed.
Artisphere: Artisphere is closed today. No ticketed performances are affected.
Phillips Collection: The museum is closed.
DC9: Borracho, scheduled to play at the club tonight, is still planning to perform.
