ToDo ToDay: Hairspray! Restaurant Week!

There’s no denying it: The 2007 movie-musical remake of Hairspray did not live up to the campy perfection of John Waters’ original film. But the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, game to reinterpret the source material once more, is putting on a concert of the Tony Award-winning musical version of Hairspray. Narrating the proceedings throughout is Mr. Baltimore himself, Waters, who should provide the dollop of weirdness that Hairspray requires.
